Six Secret Service agents have been suspended for alleged failures to perform their duties as expected. These lapses, officials at the agency apparently maintain, contributed to its inadequate protection against the attempted assassination of then-candidate Trump at a July, 2024 Butler, Pennsylvania campaign event.
