Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is honoring law enforcement officers across the Lone Star State while highlighting a $7.5 billion federal reimbursement for Texas border security costs.
Abbott credited Texas law enforcement and Operation Lone Star with helping reduce illegal immigration into the state and fentanyl deaths. He also outlined plans to seek additional federal reimbursement funds and said the state will continue working to secure the southern border.
