At the direction of United States Southern Command, Gen. Francis L. Donovan ordered a lethal kinetic strike carried out by Joint Task Force Southern Spear against a vessel operated by designated terrorist organizations and involved in narco-trafficking in the Caribbean.
Two narco-terrorists were killed in the operation, with no U.S. forces harmed.
