Why would Fox do this?
Maria’s attorney says reports that she was fired are false, that she remains under contract, and that they have “receipts” and witnesses. Maria herself has said very little—only thanking supporters, posting a rainbow breaking through the clouds and adding three intriguing words:

Trish’s larger lesson may be even more important: the network no longer necessarily owns the audience. The talent can take the audience with them.

From outside the box, something still doesn’t add up.
Why sideline one of the biggest female stars in American News—someone with a loyal audience, decades of credibility and seemingly no quit in her?
Was this simply a contract and management dispute? Was politics involved? Was it about what Maria wanted to report? Or are we still missing the most important piece?
• I want to see the before, during and after notes surrounding the decision.
Who made it—and why?
Because if Fox believed removing Maria from its airwaves would make the problem disappear, Trish may be right:
