LIVE News: The Senate will meet today at 9:30 A.M. Eastern Time and is expected to hold a Confirmation vote at 11:30 A.M. Eastern Time to confirm Kristi Noem as President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security Secretary.
The South Dakota Governor is expected to receive bipartisan support for her confirmation as Homeland Security chief. If Noem is confirmed, she will become the fourth of President Donald Trump’s picks to advance, following Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
Trump News: Today at 3:30 P.M. Eastern Time, President Trump is expected to speak in Las Vegas about tips and taxes. This comes after touring the California wildfires damage in Los Angeles. Trump was joined by Governor Gavin Newsom and also met with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.
