On Friday, Vice President Kamala Harris rolled out her economic proposals, including a new child tax credit, a federal ban on price gouging and tax incentives to build homes. Harris faced backlash from critics including former Obama economist Jason Furman, who wrote that her plan is not a “sensible policy.” Rep. Gabe Amo, D-R.I.., tells “The Hill” that Harris’ plan reflects what “Americans are feeling” and he expects more of her policies to be rolled out during the campaign.
