U.S. Southern Command says a Joint Task Force carried out a lethal strike on a vessel operated by designated terrorist organizations in the Eastern Pacific.
Officials say the vessel was involved in narco-trafficking operations. One suspect was killed and two survived. No U.S. military personnel were harmed, and the Coast Guard was notified to assist with search and rescue efforts.
