The FBI and Utah officials held a press conference to release new surveillance video and enhanced photos of the suspect in the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University.
Officials described the suspect’s black t-shirt with an eagle and American flag, a triangle-logo baseball cap, sunglasses, backpack, and Converse shoes. Investigators say over 7,000 tips have already been received — the largest digital tip response since the Boston Marathon bombing.
A $100,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect. Authorities urged the public to submit any photos, videos, or tips to fbi.gov/utahvalleyshooting or call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
This remains a national investigation, with federal, state, and local law enforcement working together. Leaders stressed the need for public cooperation while warning against disinformation spreading online.
